Design and Approval Planning
The objective of this stage in planning in the course of decommissioning a nuclear plant is to define data and information such as actual state, work flow descriptions, work step sequences as basis for submitting the application for dismantling. Furthermore, information on radiation protection measures and collective dose as well as residue treatment including packaging and storage is compiled. Taking into consideration radiation and fire protection measures, equipment and devices necessary for dismantling as well as the dismantling sequence are described and planned and a detailed schedule is developed. As a result, technical descriptions, technical drawings, calculations, and workflows are available.
