Successfully decommissioning and dismantling a nuclear power plant requires goal-oriented advance planning. As early as during the end stage of the plant’s standard operation, the strategy for decommissioning and dismantling needs to be defined. During the post-closure stage, a concept planning needs to be done for stipulating the relevant technology, dates, and budget. Both the concept and detail planning are required for applying for approval for dismantling, with the nuclear dismantling work based on the approval planning.
Babcock Noell GmbH has a leading know-how for performing the required planning work of more than 20 years. Constant experience feedback from implemented projects allows us to continuously optimize planning to keep it up to date in technology, legislation and management.
